It’s lapidary season! The weather’s warmed up and it’s fun to work with water again. This is the first, and it’s fabulous desert ironwood Burl with chrysocolla from Arizona and a master grade ringed Gidgee shaft from Australia. Yum! Available.

New Rosewood canes with their dividers up close. Handles are Siam rosewood with birdseye figure - quite exquisite. The first has an Alaskan mammoth ivory divider and the other has a landscape Mun ebony end grain divider.

New arrival from Hawaii, quilted Koa. Yum! Needs time to dry, all good things are with the wait though.

A new 5 piece ancient cane stand. A modern piece made entirely from Ukrainian bog oak that is 5 thousand years old. The top is an exquisite piece of feather crotch bog oak that has remarkable grain! The rest is quartersawn; it’s all a dark, handsome ashy brown/black with a velvety smooth luster finish. The decorative plugs on the sides are 50,000 year old ancient Kauri wood to further the theme. The recesses are lined with black leather. This piece is available. Perfect for a high end collection of Gillis Canes.

Heres another new one, this is Nigerian ebony; sterling silver; and the end piece, divider, and pins are flawless mammoth ivory from Alaska. The finish is semi-gloss. Quite a formal and classy one.
