Here's a cane with a bold color and excellent wood grains. The traditional handle is Australian Sheoak wood and the shaft is bloodwood from Brazil. Sheoak has earned a proper place among my favorite woods, the "flow" and patterns in the grain are really interesting. Sheoak with figure is also a rare wood, hard to find and source, this piece has two kinds of figure in one, lace figure and birdseye figure. Bloodwood speaks well for itself in color, but this exotic wood is also chatoyant with a lovely shimmery grain and is very dense and durable. This piece is a heavier cane, may not be suitable for users of small stature for long walks. Would make a good daily user for some. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
