A dark beauty! This heirloom quality, handmade walking cane is made out of ebony wood. Interestingly, this is macassar ebony, a species known for striped figure that includes bands of brown, but the lighter color is almost completely absent from this cane. In dim light or even room light, it can look black because it is so dark, but its really a very dark brown with portions of black grain. A great daily use cane, durable and strong, respectable cane weight but not burdensome, about average or slightly heavier. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
