Blackwood and Bolivian Rosewood Cane
Blackwood and Bolivian Rosewood Cane
This heirloom quality cane features two beautiful exotic rosewoods. The handle is African Blackwood, the densest and darkest member of the rosewood family of species. African blackwood is very dark like ebony, but not black; in fact African blackwood is chatoyant but you'll need a bright light or the sun to see this wood's gorgeous grain come alive. The divider is copper with a centerpiece of Mallee burl. The shaft is Bolivian rosewood, a handsome wood with contrasting grain and striking black line figure. A great daily use cane. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
Last images are of the Blackwood tree (locals call it Mpingo), in natural habitat.
