This stand would make a stylish addition to a space, it holds three canes or sticks and be placed up against a wall. The top is quite handsome, its claro walnut burl and speaks well enough for itself! The front edge of the top is what’s called a “live edge”, and shows what the outside of the tree looked like after the bark was removed; burls have wild grain and just as wild edges. The post is zebrawood, a special African hardwood, which has been hand cut into a dovetail connection with the top. An enjoyable visual of the fine woodworking. The bottom is walnut with recesses that are lined with leather for a nice look and feel. The stand is hand rubbed with natural linseed oil that penetrates, seals, and protects the wood; it has a very soft feel and luster look.
