Here is an heirloom quality walking cane with a selection of special exotic woods. The handle is figured Padauk wood from S. E. Asia, it came from the middle of a "Y" in the tree where two major branches of the trunk split off from each other, the effect on the wood grain is fabulous! This handle is one of the best and most figured pieces of Padauk wood I've ever seen. The divider is silvery aluminum with steel mosaic pins. The shaft is dark macassar ebony, nearly black, but in bright light its handsome grain becomes evident with streaks of brown and a nice chatoyance. Medium in weight. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
