Cocobolo, Ebony, and Agate Cane
Cocobolo, Ebony, and Agate Cane
On this beauty is a handle of Mexican Cocobolo, a beloved rosewood species. The best cocobolo has deep, rich red colors and black lines running through the grain; this piece has both. On the end of the pistol grip handle is a stone also from Mexico called "crazy lace agate" named such for its wild patterns and colors.
The divider is a different rosewood from S. E. Asia, with thin layers of black ebony and orange Pernambuco wood. The shaft is macassar ebony from Indonesia. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
