Tulipwood Curl Cane
This heirloom quality curl cane is handcrafted using exquisite and rare Tulipwood from Brazil. Tulipwood is a vibrant member of the rosewood family of trees, and is highly sought after for its amazing colors and grain. The divider is another Rosewood, Its "kingwood" from Central America, another rarity known for rich purple colors and very high density. On either side are copper and thin end grain tulipwood pieces with a flower mosaic pin finishing it off in the center. The shaft is old growth East Indian Rosewood, quite a scarce material now. "EIR" has a lot of variation in its color, mostly brown with different hues of purple. This piece is a lovely dark reddish purple, most like Bois De Rose from Madagascar. Though stylish with its curl, This is a fully functional and comfortable handle and would make a great daily use, or special occasion cane. Medium in weight.
It has a luster finish that is very smooth and luxurious feeling. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
