This heirloom quality handmade cane my best to date with this species of rosewood from Central America. Usually referred to "Yucatan Rosewood", but this is from Nicaragua, its scientific name is: Dalbergia Tucurensis. Perhaps its source location had something to do with its quality, because it has black line figure that adds interesting grain patterns and contrast, and pleasant shades of warm caramel brown. The shaft, divider, and handle are all from the same broads of wood and each piece exhibits these features. Its a medium weight cane, it can be used daily and appropriate for almost any user. It has a luster finish that is smooth and luxurious feeling. Total cane height measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
